Open Monday through Friday from 9:00 AM to 6:00 PM. Closed from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM for lunch. Open the 2nd Saturday of the month from 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM. Closed from 12:00 PM to 1:00 PM for lunch. Office is closed the Monday after the 2nd Saturday.

WIC is open to many families in Forth Worth, and if you or your children receive Medicaid, SNAP or TANF, you already meet the income eligibility guidelines for WIC, making the application process faster. If this is your first appointment at Southside WIC Clinic, 1101 S Main St, Suite 1401, Forth Worth, please visit TexasWIC.org to review what documentation is needed. During your appointment, WIC office staff will:

1. Review documentation and determine your WIC eligibility.
2. Weigh, measure, and check iron status for you (if pregnant) and your child.
3. Answer any questions you may have about health, nutrition or breastfeeding.

At the end of your visit, you'll receive a Texas WIC card to use at the store with a food package specially designed to meet your needs.

They can connect you with WIC lactation consultants, breastfeeding classes, peer counselors and a 24/7 statewide hotline to support your breastfeeding journey every step of the way. WIC's classes cover a variety of topics, including:

• Baby's hunger cues and more.

Whether you like to learn on your own or chat with other moms and experts, WIC has options for you. We offer free online classes, and many WIC offices offer in-person group classes, too. Our classes cover many topics, from healthy eating through pregnancy, breastfeeding tips, picky eating during the toddler years and more!

Our "click and learn" classes are available anytime, and our live classes give you the opportunity to interact with our nutrition and breastfeeding experts and connect with other parents in your community. And because we know everyone's schedule is different, we offer classes at various times throughout the week.
