Open Monday through Wednesday from 9:00 AM to 6:00 PM. Closed from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM for lunch. Open Thursday from 7:00 AM to 4:00 PM. Closed from 12:30 PM to 1:30 PM for lunch. Office is closed the 1st Wednesday of the month for staff development.

WIC is open to many families in Lubbock, and if you receive Medicaid, SNAP, or TANF, you're already eligible for WIC. Even if you don't receive these programs, you may still qualify by meeting the income guidelines for your household. If this is your first appointment at Celia Ann WIC Clinic, 602 W Loop 289, Suite 100, Lubbock, please visit TexasWIC.org to review what documentation is needed. During your appointment, WIC office staff will:

1. Review documentation and determine your WIC eligibility.
2. Weigh, measure, and check iron status for you (if pregnant) and your child.
3. Answer any questions you may have about health, nutrition or breastfeeding.

At the end of your visit, you'll receive a Texas WIC card to use at the store with a food package specially designed to meet your needs.

Breastfeeding is a natural and beautiful way to provide the best nutrition for your baby, and it can be challenging at times. WIC's lactation consultants, classes, peer counselors and 24/7 statewide hotline are available to help you breastfeed successfully. The breastfeeding classes cover topics such as:

• Feeding patterns.
• Baby's hunger cues and more.
  For 24/7 breastfeeding help, call the Texas Lactation Support Hotline at 855-550-6667. This hotline is free and available to anyone in Texas.

We offer free online classes to fit your busy schedule, and many WIC locations have classes in person, too. Online classes are free even if you are not a WIC client. Our classes cover many topics, from healthy snacks and picky eating to breastfeeding tips and more! Classes are designed to provide you with knowledge and support when feeding your little ones.

Whether you prefer to learn on your own or with the help of our nutrition and breastfeeding experts, we have options to fit your schedule and learning style. Our on-demand classes are available anytime, while our live classes provide you with the opportunity to ask questions and connect with other parents in your community. And because we know that everyone's schedule is different, we offer classes at various times throughout the week.
