2. Weigh, measure and check iron status for you (if pregnant) and your child.
3. Answer any questions you may have about health, nutrition or breastfeeding.

At your visit, WIC staff will give you a Texas WIC card to use at the grocery store with a food package to meet your family's nutritional needs.

Breastfeeding is a natural and beautiful way to provide the best nutrition for your baby, and it can be challenging at times. Your local WIC office at 561 S. That's why we offer free online classes, even if you are not a WIC client. Many WIC offices have in-person classes, too. Our classes cover various topics, including healthy eating, breastfeeding tips and more.

Our classes are designed to fit your busy schedule, with on-demand classes that can be taken whenever it's convenient for you, as well as live classes where you can connect with other parents in your community or ask questions for our nutrition and breastfeeding experts.
